Standing on a slender steel frame, the sleek Tanis Desk features two spacious drawers and a comfortable work surface covered with Fenix, a unique nanotech resin with a soft touch and super opaque finish. French designer Pierre Paulin began designing desks in 1953. The CM 141 was one of his early designs, originally created for Thonet-France. Pierre Paulin

Modernist French designer Pierre Paulin was a pioneer in low-level
living. While his oeuvre spans decades of modern materials, techniques, and
industrial projects, he’s best known for introducing a new approach to sitting
— one that bid adieu to chair legs and embraced low-slung profiles for easy,
laid-back lounging. Paulin’s iconic designs figure in museums and collections
around the world.
