For the Danish design company HAY, brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created the Palissade Collection (2015). Designed in color and form to integrate effortlessly with its surroundings, this collection stands out for its combination of visual simplicity and core strength. It's elegant without being fragile and strong without being bulky. Ships flat to save on packing materials, simple assembly required.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

The brothers Bourouellec opened their joint Paris-based design
studio in 1999. Being brothers in addition to business partners allows them to
bounce ideas off each other, trusting that difference of opinion will spur
creativity. Their products range from furniture, lighting and rugs to porcelain
dishware, ceramic tile and jewelry, even window blinds and a TV.

  • Wipe garden furniture with a clean, damp cloth or use a solution of water and neutral detergent.
  • Wipe furniture when wet after rain or snowfall to prevent surface damage.
  • Avoid using scouring cream or scouring pads to prevent scratches.
  • Store furniture in a dry, ventilated place during winter to protect it from weather elements, scratches, and bumps.
  • Clean bird droppings immediately to prevent corrosion or stains.
  • Handcrafted products may have minor blemishes or imperfections that do not affect their quality or functionality.
  • Direct placement on a seafront can lead to corrosion.
  • Small scratches or damage to garden furniture with a powder coating can lead to corrosion. Use a special repair lacquer available at one of our stores.
