Muuto Enfold Sideboard Low

The Enfold Sideboard combines industrial materiality with residential references for a new perspective on modern storage. Made from a lacquered steel that gently enfolds its top and bottom in solid oak, the Enfold Sideboard fuses cold and warm materials for a unique expression, paired with the vibrantly modern expression of its ridged steel doors. The flexible design is available in four sizes, which all have adjustable shelves and discreet cable outlets. This offers the opportunity to find just the right fit for your space, function and needs — be it a media console, in the hallway or a tall sideboard for storage.

Powder Coated Steel
Steel is an alloy of iron with carbon. Powder coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more resistant to corrosion. Powder coated steel is also highly chip resistant.

Oiled Oak
Oak is a traditionally Scandinavian material with durable abilities against factors such as water and fungi alongside a high level of strength, giving it long-lasting properties fit for furniture.

Thomas Bentzen, former Head of Design at Muuto, started his own studio in 2010. Bentzen’s designs are characterized by simplicity, rationality and functionality — always firmly rooted in the Danish design tradition, material knowledge, craftsmanship and rational industrial manufacturing processes. His work continues to receive international recognition at fairs and exhibitions all over the world.

Powder-coated steel: Wipe off with moist cloth and remove excess liquid with dry cloth.​​

Solid Oak: Upon receiving your product, we recommend that top and bottom boards are treated with special oak wood oil, improving its resistance to stains and fluids. We also recommend that you continue caring for the product by repeating this treatment 2-3 times a year. Avoid placing the sideboard in the immediate distance of a heat source. Do not place hot or wet objects directly on the sideboard, as they can leave a mark on the top. Metal objects can leave a mark if left on the sideboard for a longer period of time. Clean the top often and carefully with a soft and dry cloth following the wood’s grain patterns. The product should not be exposed to excessive humidity, heat, or direct sunlight.​
