Muuto Couple Coffee Table

Inspired by the traditional tile table, the Couple Coffee Table is a refined merging of materials — FSC™️-certified (FSC-C028824) wood and ceramic stoneware. Made in a tactile ceramic stone material, it is a gentle nod to the durability of the brick, in aesthetics as well as quality. This sense of tactility is enhanced by the option of two different tabletop tiles; one with a plain and functional surface, the other with a more sculptural wavy feel. Choose between 36 prearranged variants spanning across various finishes and three sizes, from the petite to the grand coffee table with plenty of room for books and objects of affection. ​

Tabletop tiles made in ceramic stoneware treated with a stone sealer for extra stain protection. Tiles are placed loosely on top of the frame with rubber anti-slip pads securing the tiles in place. Frame in solid oak treated with either clear or dark oil, made using FSC™️-certified (FSC-C028824) wood. Premounted felt glides. ​​

Tabletop​: For general maintenance: Clean the table with a damp cloth, using only mild (not concentrated) detergents or washing up liquids. Always dry with a cloth after cleaning. To avoid the risk of permanent stains and marks, liquid, grease, etc., these should be removed immediately.

The tabletop has been stone-sealed during production, but Muuto recommends re-sealing it upon receiving the product. It is highly recommended to re-apply stone sealer 1-2 times a year on the tabletop surface in order to upkeep its stain-protection. ​Stone sealer can be purchased in your local hardware store*.​​

Frame​: We recommend applying special oak wood oil on the frame when necessary. For solid oak we recommend using an oil with a small amount of white pigment. For dark oiled oak we recommend using a smoked tabletop oil*. Never place the table in the immediate distance of a heat source.​
